Lenovo and NVIDIA have taken a major step toward accelerating enterprise AI with the launch of the Lenovo NVIDIA AI Gigafactory program. Unveiled at Tech World @ CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the initiative is designed to help AI cloud providers deploy gigawatt-scale AI factories faster and move advanced AI workloads into production at unprecedented speed.

The announcement was made during a keynote by Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang, joined by NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang. Together, they positioned the Lenovo NVIDIA AI Gigafactory as a new benchmark for building and scaling AI infrastructure capable of supporting next-generation workloads, including trillion-parameter models, agentic AI, physical AI, and high-performance computing applications.

At the core of the program is a focus on reducing time-to-first token (TTFT), a metric that measures how quickly AI infrastructure delivers usable results after deployment. As AI investments grow larger and more complex, enterprises and cloud providers are increasingly judged not just on compute capacity, but on how fast that compute translates into production-ready intelligence. Lenovo and NVIDIA aim to cut TTFT from months to weeks.

The Lenovo NVIDIA AI Gigafactory program combines ready-to-use infrastructure components, expert design and deployment guidance, and industrialized manufacturing processes. This integrated approach allows AI cloud providers to move rapidly from planning to deployment, while maintaining predictability, efficiency, and scalability at giga-scale levels.

A key differentiator of the program is Lenovo’s Neptune liquid cooling technology, which supports dense, high-performance AI systems while improving energy efficiency and thermal stability. Combined with Lenovo’s global manufacturing footprint and lifecycle services, the program enables faster and more reliable deployment of massive AI clusters across regions.

The initiative also provides early access to NVIDIA’s most advanced accelerated computing platforms. This includes support for NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra architecture, addressing rising demand for sovereign, secure, and specialized AI use cases. One highlighted system is the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 from Lenovo, a fully liquid-cooled rack-scale platform integrating 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 NVIDIA Grace CPUs.

Looking ahead, the Lenovo NVIDIA AI Gigafactory will also support the newly announced NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 system. Designed for large-scale AI training and inference, this rack-scale AI supercomputer brings together Rubin GPUs, Vera CPUs, high-speed networking, DPUs, and advanced Ethernet technologies to power future gigawatt AI factories.

Beyond hardware, Lenovo Hybrid AI Factory Services play a critical role in the program. These services cover the full lifecycle, from design and deployment to ongoing optimization and support.

By integrating AI-native platforms, repeatable AI use cases, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including open Nemotron models, Lenovo helps providers deliver specialized AI solutions across industries.

The partnership builds on decades of collaboration between Lenovo and NVIDIA.
